Individual,
Couples & Group Counseling
Training & Consulting
We believe every person has the capacity to live a happy, healthy life.
Every individual possesses innate strengths to overcome adversity, trauma and
stress. Many of us need the appropriate support and guidance in order to
achieve that end. The Freedman Center's clinicians are licensed social
workers who are trained to help clients identify patterns, stressors and
traumas that lead to emotional distress and ineffective coping.
We continue to successfully treat clients who experience depression,
anxiety, trauma, issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity,
reproductive and sexual health issues, bipolar disorder, domestic and sexual
violence, relationship/marital discord, alcoholism and substance abuse, grief
and loss and chronic illness. Our clinicians are trained in such
disciplines as EMDR, Critical Incident Stress Debriefing, Energy Healing/Reiki,
Hypnosis, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Spiritual Counseling and other
modalities and techniques to help address client needs.
Our primary goal is to help clients identify maladaptive thought and behavior
patterns. Through a collaborative process we develop strategies that
will help solve problems and improve quality of life.
